2. Working with Us 

The Clients  contract the event agency Nordic Adventure Weddings (Swan Consulting/v Carsten Hansen) to provide with the wedding planner services.

By proceeding with our services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms. Should you have any questions or require clarification, feel free to contact us.

3. Services Offered

We provide wedding planning and coordination services, including but not limited to:

• Legal ceremony organization

• Venue selection and booking

• Vendor recommendations

• On-the-day coordination

Additional services are available upon request and may incur extra fees.

Specific services depend on the package selected, and will be outlined in the agreement.

4. Client Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely information required for legal documentation.

• Ensure all payments are made on time as outlined in the agreement.

• Adhere to all Danish laws and regulations, including travel and visa requirements.

Legal entry to Denmark

Ensuring legal entry to Denmark is your responsibility. If you do not meet the legal requirements for entry—such as violating the 90/180 Schengen rule—you cannot travel to Denmark to get married. In such cases, the Agency of Family Law will reject your application. Refunds will not be provided as per our cancellation policy.

Additionally, if it comes to our attention after payment that you have overstayed in the Schengen Area or violated the 90/180 rule, we reserve the right to terminate our services. No refunds will be issued under these circumstances, in accordance with our cancellation terms.

 

5. Payment Methods and Schedule

Payment Methods

All prices listed on our website are inclusive of value-added tax (VAT) and are quoted in euros.

We offer two payment options:

1. Bank Transfer

2. Online Payment via Credit/Debit Card
   Online payments are processed securely through Stripe, our third-party payment platform. By selecting Stripe Checkout, you:

   • Agree to be bound by Stripe’s Terms of Service.

   • Acknowledge that all monetary transactions are managed by Stripe. We are not responsible for any financial or transactional issues between you and Stripe or any third party.

Stripe ensures your sensitive information is protected with 256-bit SSL encryption, providing a secure and reliable payment experience.

You are prohibited from processing stolen or unauthorized credit cards through Stripe.

As the planner, we do not have access to your payment details. Therefore, we are unable to update or modify any information, including but not limited to names and card details, that you input when making payments through Stripe.

 

Payment Schedule

1. Town Hall Weddings:
   The full amount of EUR 780 is due upfront upon signing the wedding services agreement.

2. Other Wedding Packages:

   • A EUR 900 deposit/booking fee is required at the time of signing the wedding services agreement.

   • The remaining balance is payable in two custom installments, as outlined in your wedding services agreement.

 

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Case refusal

If for any reason your case will be refused by AFL after the application is made, we refund €780. This is not applies if your case is delayed because of extra documentation requested by AFL, or if you invited to the Interview – see Cancellation Policy below.

Cancellation by client

If for any reason you decide to cancel our service after signing the agreement and paying the fee:

a. we refund €300 if we not received an approval from AFL yet. This is not applies if your case is delayed because of extra documentation requested by AFL, or if you invited to the Interview

b. there can be no refund if we have processed your application on your behalf to the AFL and get an approval.

Cancellation by Planner or Danish Authorities

Planner, or Town Hall, or AFL can terminate their services if  Client has overstay in the Schengen Area and/or violated  the 90/180 rule, or if Client didn’t attend scheduled appointment with the town hall. No refunds will be issued in these cases.

The Agency of Family Law (AFL) reserves the right to cancel an application if clients fail to attend a scheduled interview or decline the proposed interview date. No refunds will be issued in these cases.

If AFL requests extra documents

The AFL may request additional documentation if necessary, determine that the quality of the submitted documents is insufficient, or ask you to re-submit or correct specific documents.

In such cases, delays may occur depending on the AFL's workload, which is beyond our control and cannot be predicted by us or our advisors. We cannot be held responsible for any delays in processing your case. However, we will do our best to assist you by addressing any issues, such as providing additional documents required by the AFL, and will work with you to reschedule your wedding date if necessary.

If a delay occurs and you choose to cancel the process, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

 Invitation to the interview with the AFL

In rare instances, to prevent Pro Forma marriages, the AFL may request additional documentation or require an in-person interview. If you are summoned for an interview and choose to cancel the process, or fail to attend the scheduled interview, no refunds will be provided. Similarly, if your application is denied following the interview, no refunds will be issued

7. Travel and Accommodation

Planner strongly recommend do not buy any tickets or make another travel arrangements before we have an approval from AFL and your wedding date is booked.

Planner is to no extent liable for any bookings for flights, hotels or any other kind of arrangements made for your trip to and stay in Denmark.

The client is responsible for their travel arrangements and accommodation, including any for guests or required vendors.

 

8. Legal Ceremonies in the town hall

Your wedding ceremony will be conducted by the Danish government, and the local authorities are responsible for the process.

If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment with the town hall and need to reschedule, we will gladly assist in re-booking another available date within the validity period of your approval.

If you do not inform us in advance that you cannot attend the scheduled appointment and fail to show up, your case will be canceled and no refund will be issued.

If your marriage license (approval from AFL) expires and you want us to re-apply, the service will be conducted again, and the standard service fees will apply.

 

9. Liability

We are not responsible for vendor-related issues, such as delays or cancellations.

While we endeavor to provide smooth event coordination, unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, transportation strikes) may affect the wedding day.

 

10. Force Majeure

We are not liable for events outside our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.

 

11. Privacy Policy

All personal data provided is handled per GDPR standards. We will not share your information with third parties without consent.

 

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Any disputes shall be resolved in Danish courts.
