Nicole and Curtis chose Maribo on the island of Lolland for their elopement wedding in Denmark. Maribo is known by the locals as ‘The town of love’ as it’s a popular destination for foreign couples looking to marry abroad.
Nicole and Curtis had their wedding ceremony in an intimate and cosy town hall in Maribo that sits right by the lakeside and has a gorgeous jetty. Both looked perfect in their own smart casual clothes, which were the best attire for a wedding adventure in Denmark. Meaning that as soon as these guys said ‘I do’, they were perfectly dressed to begin exploring Maribo.
And with Maribo offering up beautiful lakes, stunning countryside, a medieval town, a gothic cathedral, an open air museum, ancient monuments, a zoo, cafes, restaurants, hotels and shops on offer. They had no time to waste!
Beautiful Danish Island Weddings
Elopement weddings in Denmark tend to attract free spirited and romantic couples who are keen on adventure. Couples who want a wedding that reflects who they are as people and how they choose to live their lives. Eco-friendly elopements in Denmark deliver precisely that and it was clear from the images that Nicole and Curtis relished having their wedding done their way.
We loved how Nicole and Curtis were so laidback and fun. They really embraced the wedding adventure and were a joy to work with.
