Aiyanna and Markus, a couple from Berlin, chose to have a simple small beach wedding in Denmark and chose the peaceful sandy Hestehoved beach in Nakskov on the beautiful island of Lolland. There were just 26 guests and the ceremony was lived streamed to other family and friends who were unable to attend in person.
The location was perfect for our adventure wedding photographer as the 360-degree panoramic view of the sea, harbour, boats, expansive sky, famously long wooden jetty, and beautiful hills and plains stretching out as far as the eye could see, ensured that every image was set against a beautiful backdrop.
Getting married abroad on a beach
It really was the perfect location for an outdoor boohoo. Aiyanna chose the tradition of having her father walk her down the aisle. Or, in this case, along the sandy pathway. Aiyanna and Markus sat on an elegant couch to take their vows which they had written themselves.
After the ceremony everybody toasted the union with champagne as our adventure wedding photographer happily snapped away unobtrusively capturing all the candid moments. The youngest guests were adorable and each had a duty to perform on the day which they all carried out perfectly.
